Hi everyone. I have been an author off and on through the years since I was in college back in 2015. There were several false starts and some mishaps, but I didn’t really start my journey as a writer until September 2018.
Currently, I have 11 short stories under my belt with 3 novellas, and 1 novel. Yes, I am still learning and revamping the way I do things with my books. But what’s something that surprised me since becoming an author is how strong the author community can be. I’ve found strong ties with several authors that write very different genres from each other at the same time co-inside with each other, too.
These friends have led me to continuing on in my journey even though it gets hard at time with having twin boys, a husband, and a corgi that demand my time. I also started publishing box sets with many genres of authors over the last several years. It is a learning experience and is super fun. I’ve met more authors and grow my target base the more I do in the industry.
If I had to change the way I do things I wouldn’t hesitate, because I know there are several authors willing to support me. They don’t just work on bettering themselves but love to pick up the little guys and help us make a name for ourself alongside them.
