Hi everyone. I have a problem. For the last several months, I have been in a reading slump. This slump is self made, of course.
You see, when my kids went on vacation to visit their Gram Gram I read about 20 books in a month. I had book reviews coming out of my ears and I had them scheduled out until November.
Now they have been home, in school, and my reviews on my blog have run out. The problem I have so many books to pick from in my Kindle app I can’t decide what I am in the mood to read. I mean how do you decide? Do I want SciFi Romance with alien fated mates or smut of some nature? Or do I want something more: Fantasy Romance, Cozy Mystery, Horror or what? How do you decide what to read when you feel you are having dry spell with interest?
Many of the books I have in my Kindle app to read are part of series. My issue is reading either the first in a series or should I move on in the series to book two. But then if I enjoy book two, then I will want to buy the next one. And my to buy list is getting longer with each series I start.
So I ask you this my fellow reader. Do you continue on in one of your beloved series that you already committed to buying the second book too? Or, do you start a new potential series that you haven’t started yet?
