V is for Vladimir

The Elven Kingdom

The kingdom of Vladimir has existed since the beginning of time. Many believe the elves were one of the first creations in the world of Tarzinëa. They originally prayed to the goddess Bright Star for the longest time. That was until Nuitari and Mortez birthed Salza. She became the official goddess of the elves. Many believe it is because of her resemblance to them or the fact that she took a liking to their land. Many people talk about seeing a child dancing in the woods with the animals. But when they approach she fleas. This legendary tale made Salza known as the child goddess. No one ever saw her in her adult form, not even her mother.

Vladimir has stood in the western hemisphere of Tarzinëa for generations, surrounded by the forest and magical realms. The people protect the land and flourish. They even incorporated some of the forest into their kingdom. Some elves choose to live among the trees in tree top houses that stand high above that give them the ability to scout for their people for danger. The castle is a marveled sight. It is made of crystalline stone sparkles like marble in the sunlight. One clean piece with no cracks or bumps. Two towers make up the base of the castle, with a bridge that connects them. Under the bridge a waterfall falls down into the city, giving everyone access to a clean source of water.

Right now Vladimir sits in a begotten state. They turned their back on Zorron and the dragon riders. Their prince was forced to send his dragon into exile but remain to help lead his people. But his heart is not in it. He doesn’t believe the walls should be close to the world and that they turn their backs on everything they built with the humans, dwarves, and other races. But the king thinks otherwise. This leads Ïstan to leave his kingdom and choose exile from his people forever. His father disowns him and they part ways but little do they all know but the goddess departs with Ïstan too. Leaving the elves to fend for themselves and get no aid from her.

Now we are at the point in history where the elves have shuttered themselves into their land with no alleys in sight. The only problem their enemy has grown in power and still sees them as a threat. Will Vladimir face war head on without their prince and aid of their goddess? I guess we will have to find out.
