Raoul is the king of the tiger streak, and he is looking for his mate. He ends up bumping into her on the street and taking her hostage like a barbarian. Then once she finds herself locked away safe, he works on her to come to terms with being his mate.
The story has a wonderful concept, but with how short it is and how limited their interaction is through the story, I can't believe she would turn her feelings towards her captive the way it happened in the book. She defends his honor against her own father, but I don’t think her feelings would be strong enough to start a shift. If perhaps the author put some hints on her animalistic nature throughout the time frame, it would be more believable.
Over all, it was a good read but didn’t give me the depth I like to see with the character and their animal. It seemed kind of rushed and didn’t seem like it could become a genuine romance. The development wasn’t really there for me with the two characters.
If I had to rate this book out of five stars. I would have to give it a 3/5. I enjoyed the story, but I think it would do better if more details were brought into the relationship between the two main characters. Either than that, I would recommend this story to someone looking for a fast-paced romance read that leaves some details out.
