Happy Monday everyone. Today we are going to do a book review on "Stolen and Sold," by D.E. Chapman. This is a dark sci-fi omegaverse novella that takes alien romance over to the dark side. See my thoughts below.

Strafor Book 2

She’s dead because of me, and I’m not the least bit sorry.

This was not the life I envisioned when I first boarded Serendipity with the promise of a brand-new life in space. I didn’t plan on murdering anyone, but that’s exactly what happened. I also wasn’t planning to get caught, but such is my luck.

Say goodbye to my carefree life.

I’m quickly dropped off at the nearest space station and handed over to The Fleet to deal with. The military force on this high-tech utopia conveniently looks the other way when a chubby and disgustingly grubby alien steals me right from my cell.

It plans to sell me to the highest bidder, all so it can line its greedy little pockets with credits. It’s a shame that humans are a rarity in space because I’m bought for an outrageous sum that makes that shithole richer than God. And all I’m left with is a collar, unbreakable chains, and a one-way ticket to imprisoned hell.

Stolen and Sold is book one in a dark sci-fi omegaverse featuring one sweet and gentle male omega, one slightly crazy female omega, and one possessive and dominant alpha male.

Lyra is in trouble. An accident leads the space crew officials to believe she is a murderer. They dropped her off with the Alien FBI sort of place, only to find herself in a white isolated room. When she thinks things can’t get any worse she finds herself sold to the highest bidder at an alien auction. She is on her way to her owner when a miracle happens. She crash lands on Strafor.

Wen and Olo are an omega and alpha pairing. They are happy with their lives together, even though Olo can’t conceive babies for Wen. Everything changes when they find Lyra at a crash landing site and bring her back to their home. 28 days later, things get crazy when Wen has not one but two omegas going into heat.

The officials on Strafor aren’t nice people and are a royal pain in the ass for intervening in Wen and Olo’s life. Everything hits the fan when they do something unspeakable to Lyra. Then all hands are on deck while Wen and Olo look for revenge.

This was a short book that was filled with emotional highs and emotional low points. There was always something catching your attention and the dark themes keep you turning the page. I loved the world building within the book. It made you feel you were standing on the space station with Lyra while she screamed for mercy.

Wen and Olo have such a loving relationship that you don’t even care if it is two males together. Makes you wonder if they have any female settlers on Strafer or not with omegas. Just a curious thought. Over all, I enjoyed the book from beginning to end and I found I wanted to rip up some beta councilmen’s throats for what they pulled on Lyra.

Highly recommend this book to readers that love omega verse stories that are dark romance mixed with MM, MFM, MMF. If I had to rate this book out of 5 stars it would be 5/5 stars. I literally couldn’t put the book down and didn’t even realize how much time passed from when I started it.
