Hi everyone. Today is the day for letter “S” in the A to Z April Blogging Challenge. I thought I would talk about one of my kyre creatures today and that is SnowFire. She was the main character in my story “Wrath of SnowFire,” within my Tales of Ferrês Series. If you haven’t read it yet you should. It shows how much a mother will go through to protect her pups and might overdo things when enraged. But today’s post is about her as a character and I thought I should spread the spotlight on her as a person for a while. Hope you enjoy.

S is for SnowFire

The Queen of The Forest of Ferrês

SnowFire is introduced in my Tales of Ferrês series. She makes a sneak peek introduction in story number one at the end when Digger gets home. Then she gets her own story later on in the series. She is the queen that many love and adore. DarkDeath is her mate, and she is the only one that can stop his temper from flaring. You can say she puts ice on it.

Every year for the last several dozen moons, she has had a litter of pups. No one is less loved by her or her mate. But it has allowed the kyres to grow in number and spread their power across the forest. That means they have one formidable enemy that is the twin-tailed foxes. They were here first with the blessing of Nuitari the Goddess of Beasts. But that was until Serena created the kyres and they took over the forest, making Serena the Goddess of the Blue Moon the ruling goddess over the land.

SnowFire has an ability over snow and winter magic. She can make things freeze momentarily or find herself at home in the winter wood. Many fear her magic because it is so strong but many believe her magic is so strong because of her faith in Serena. DarkDeath knows not to cross SnowFire when things get messy. She is not above throwing the power in his face. However, SnowFire is a formidable queen that takes care of all that is in need.
