Hi everyone. Today is the day for letter "R" for this A to Z April Blogging Challenge. I really had to wrack my brain. Then it hit me I could focus this day around Prince Raymond and the book I have planned for him in my Tales of Tarza series. I'm not sure which book will come next after "The Emerald Knight," but it might be Raymond's book, "The Sea Barren." Now I thought I would share some back round to the story and what might happen within its pages. Hopefully, without giving away the entire story. I hope you enjoy this post. Happy reading :).

R is for Raymond Flares
"The Sea Barren"
Raymond Flares is the firstborn of King Tyler and Queen Sarah. You could say he is the medieval party goer that causes mayhem, disasters, and womanizes too. He takes enjoyment in making his own path in the world and does everything possible to bring his father’s name through the mud. Not out of spite, but out of love. He wants to live the life his father’s crown force him to never spread his wings.
Now Raymond, or “Ray” for short, likes to spend time at the bars in town and around the ladies. But he doesn’t stick to the status quo. He likes to mingle with all classes of individuals. Ray has grown quite fond of hanging with the sailors down on the bend that have ships that the King manages.
On his 21st birthday King Tyler breaks the apron strings. He gives his freedom seeking son some responsibility. King Tyler gives him control of one of his fleet to take to ports throughout the kingdoms in his name. Raymond bulks at the responsibility but when he gets to pick his crew and who he travels with, then he settles down.
Now this story is about how a fun seeking individual fights responsibility and finds his true love in life. Not everyone falls in love with a person, but sometimes a thing. He gets to experience a love like to know other person experienced. I can’t go into much details about this because it will give away the story. But hopefully you can enjoy this story and subscribe to my blog or my newsletter to get insights into this story as I write it. But like I said, I’m not sure if it is the next installment in the Tales of Tarza or later in the series.
