Hi everyone. Today is for the letter “O.” This one I really had to think hard on for subject. In the end I could only think of Goddess Ecali. She takes the form of an Octopus in the star constellations. Check out the details below to find out more about her.

O is for Octopus Constellation
Goddess Ecali
At night over the ocean you can see the octopus sitting high in the sky over her kingdom of water. Ecali is the sea witch that many fear and pray to for safe voyage across the ocean. She doesn’t take to those that insult her or dirty her watery kingdom. Her wrath is usually at the bottom of the sea for sailors that infuriate her.
For those that have seen her in person they say that she looks like your normal merfolk with beauty beyond the man’s desire. But she has tentacles instead of a mermaid tail. Many of the merfolk fear her and think of her as a bad omen on their travels. They try to appease her the best they can but they rather pray to a deity that doesn’t enjoy destroying everything on a whim.
She is one of the evil goddess of Tarzinëa. And follows in Thorso the King of the Underworld foot steps. Many suspect that they have a romance relationship but they tend to just tolerate each other.
I hope you enjoyed these insights into Goddess Ecali. She doesn’t really have much of a storyline in any of my books. I might bring her into play when I write “The Sea Barren.” This is one book I have planned for my Tales of Tarza series. But hopefully you are getting a lot from these posts and I sure am because I enjoy writing them.
