What can we expect from you in the future?

At this moment, the prequel, The Matriarch Mission, is seventy-five percent drafted. Awesome feedback from the alpha readers so far. And in this day and age of AI assisted writing, AutoCrit is awarding the unedited manuscript an overall score of 91.5 versus professional edited and published historical fiction books. One can hope that translates into lots and lots of satisfied readers someday.

BTW, AI is not writing this book. The examples of AI prose I have seen from novel writing apps lacks humanity. It is perfect. But humans are not. And my writing style is certainly not. But it comes from the human heart and soul. But AI editing is a blessing. If my unedited manuscript is scoring that well on the craft of writing, imagine what wonders a great human editor will do to polish it up!

This prequel differs dramatically from the first two books, The Matriarch Matrix and The Matriarch Messiah. These two works are multiple intertwining plot lines, vast number of characters, epic stories told in an omniscient third person POV. The prequel is one singular plot line told in a first person POV.

The story focuses on the great, great grandmother of Rachel, the Israeli Torah archeologist in The Matriarch Messiah, and how her family became intricately involved with the myth of the cavern of the blue light.

This prequel not only sets up The Matriarch Matrix and The Matriarch Messiah, but the third book in the series provisionally titled The Matriarch Mandate. I will have finished the first manuscript for the prequel by the end of March, which will go to developmental editor(s), and will outline the Matriarch Mandate in April as I bask in the Mallorcan sun.

What comes after The Matriarch Mandate? I think that book will end the saga of Peter and Zara. Will I write about the secondary characters? Go farther back into history and start anew with legendary searches for the black object? Or start an entirely new series? All these options are on the table. Good reviews will always inspire writing more books!
