G is for Gods of Evil, Good, and Neutral Standing

Hi everyone. Today I thought I would do break down of which Gods and Goddesses are evil, good, or neutral in my Tarzinëa world. They each have their own purpose throughout the stories themselves and always have a tendency to meddle. But they are each unique in their own way.

Evil, Good, and Neutral

Good Gods & Goddesses - These deities usually try to bring hope and wealth to their people. But tend to let the ways of life differ for each person. This can mean one can have it blessed with easy passage while others would face more trial and error going forth until they find their destiny.

Bright Star - Goddess of Light - She is the Queen of the gods. And tends to be the mostly followed by the people. But even she does things against the rule book that effects all the worlds. This then leads the balance to falter and heroes to put things back into place.

Hunzinki - Guardian of Soldiers - He is a warrior god that soldiers look to when they face the battle field. Hunzinki is known to make grand heroes on the battle field. And is known to end soldiers lives for the lack of faith. He is also the one that Bright Star goes to fix her problems when it comes to times of war.

Salza - Goddess of Elves or Forests - She is a child goddess most the time, refusing to take her adult form due to her father's exile. Her purpose to protect the forests of the human world and the elves that she created herself. The only problem is that when the balance shifts her loyalty changes with the horror that unfolds amongst her people when the empire falls.

Kortez - God of Dwarves or Weaponry - He is the god that stands among the stars above Torrin. The dwarves look to him to guide their hands with the creation of fine jewelry, weapons, and skilled metal work. They believe that he is the strongest willed god but tends to show mercy over hate.

Evil Gods & Goddesses - These deities love to cause mayhem and disasters where ever they see possible. They love war and deception amongst the people and love bringing down the gods of light. Thorsa is the leader of the evil gods and tends to buck heads with his sister Bright Star on a regular basis.

Thorso - God of the Underworld - He dives deep into those that love to greed for power and overwhelm the weak. This is why he tends to disrupt the balance on a regular basis and always has a master plan up his sleeve.

Ecali - Goddess of the Sea - She is feared by seamen and merfolk. Her wrath is thrust onto the sea regularly and tends to flow with the tides of change on the regular. Many worship her out of fear and always know to tread lightly with choices that effect her.

Morna - Goddess of the Sand or Desert - Her place is over the desert waist lands where only a select few of the strong survive. She takes the ones exiled into her lands as a sacrifice for her good behavior amongst the humans. This is due to her ability to destroy lands by sucking the life from its very core.

Thornac - God of Deception - He is known for bringing the brightest people to their knees when they greed for power. The fact he can corrupt the souls of man tends to freak many out and tell stories about how he tricked soldiers, women, and kings of the past. He lurks in peoples hearts and waits for the right moment to corrupt them and bring them into the darkness by making them falter on their chosen path to destiny.

Neutral Gods & Goddess - These deities are the ones that stand in the middle of the balancing scale. They will tip the tides to one side if they so choose to join with the side that they see fit. But they also have a tendency to make havoc of their own by forcing the other gods to pick sides.

Nutari - Goddess of Beasts - She is known for creating the Twin-Tailed foxes that once ruled of the Forest of Ferrês. This is a magical kingdom only ruled by beasts themselves. But Serena ruined that for her with the creation of the kyres. Nutari has held a grudge ever since and tends to cause issues with Serena on the regular that can tilt the tides of the immortal realm.

Mortez - God of Dragons - He was born one night with his sister Serena. They each influenced the balancing scales of power with their creation. Mortez was the one that created the dragons. But it was for Serena to have a friend of her own, not to create a creature far more powerful than the rest. However, the gods didn't see it that way and exiled him from the world. Later to exile the dragons too. The balance of power has been off since his exile.

Serena - Goddess of the Blue Moon - She was born the same night Mortez took to the sky. Her constellation is the Blue Moon. This is where mages draw their magic from and why they worship her. But when the time comes for dragon riders she becomes the chosen goddess they worship. This being that she was the first to befriend a dragon. Therefore, making her one of the strongest goddess that could rival Bright Star herself.

There are far more gods and goddesses that make up the world of Tarzinëa. They just haven't appeared to me yet or aren't as important as these gods I have listed above. Hope you enjoyed this post and look forward to tomorrows.
