C is for City of Mages
The City of Mages is in a small little forest off the Mountains of Fondûra, in a city called Elërya.
This is where King Christophé disappeared to after he stepped down as King of Tarza. Now his son Tyler holds the reins but Christophé has a new purpose for his people.
All those years under the crown he hid his powers of being a mage. Now the secret is out amongst his people and he is back to his roots learning, creating, and teaching those that have magic themselves. He no longer has to hide his powers and openly wield them inside the school he created.
On top of a hill in a with beautiful trees encasing it for protection sits the Castle of Morien. This is where apprentice mages, journeymen, and adept mages go to for schooling. Prince Billy, King Tyler’s youngest son, goes here under his grandfather’s tutelage when he becomes fourteen. He spends many years working his way through the ranges of schooling until he gets sent out on his own quest to see if he can make it in the world as an adept mage. Prince Billy wants to fight in wars and become a renown war mage that goes down in history as one of the greatest. But first he has to take his first quest.
You will get to see a bit of his quest and how he makes a rare friend in “A Forbidden Friendship.” He gets sucked into the Forest of Ferrês for a purpose only the gods and goddesses know. But he comes out stronger and is ready to head back to his school to show off his new talents.
The City of Mages is a city build around magic folk and creatures that don’t like being amongst regular humans. They want their safe place in the world therefore Elërya is well protected and hidden away inside the mountain peaks of Fondûra.
